I am currently co-investigator on the Nuffield Foundation funded project ‘Living with Data’ led by Prof. Helen Kennedy, which runs from September 2019 to December 2021.
Working with team members Susan Oman and Itzelle Medina Perea, we have adapted my Data Journeys approach to capture and map the data practices within a number of existing and proposed projects at the BBC and Department for Work and Pensions. Team member Lulu Pinney then created visualisations of what we found.
Our findings and the visuals were then fed into the next stages of the project, a survey and focus groups/interviews with members of the public about their thoughts and feelings regarding such data practices.
