I was co-editor of Online Information Review from June 2016 to December 2019, along with colleagues Andrew Cox, Angela Lin and Robert Jäschke.

We worked to shape the scope of the journal to focus on emergent topics within the digital information space, publishing papers drawing on a wide range of approaches and including a number of special issues such as:

• a collection of papers presented at the Data Power 2017 conference
• a special issue on Social and Cultural Biases in Information, Algorithms, and Systems

During our time as editors the impact factor of the journal increased from 1.152 in 2016 to 1.805 in 2019.
