We are excited to host an online dialogue event as part of the AI Fringe programme this November. Hear and discuss research themes from across three industries: drug discovery, higher education, and the creative arts.
On Thursday 16th November, 11:00 – 12:30, we will be hosting an online dialogue with the opportunity to hear and discuss our research themes, and help shape project recommendations on how to develop good working digital cultures. The Patterns in Practice team will be discussing insights from research into and how practitioners’ beliefs, values and feelings interact to shape how they engage with emergent data mining and machine learning technologies.
The event will be a dialogue meaning it will involve some sharing of research themes followed by the opportunity for participants to reflect on these themes, share their own ideas and experiences and engage with the findings of the project. The feedback and learning from this event will help shape the final reports. We will also be working with a graphic artist to produce a ‘visual minutes’ for this event.
