What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

Analytics

We use the privacy preserving Matomo analytics to track number of users to the website. Matomo is configured to:

anonymise vistors’ IP addresses to two bytes e.g. 192.168.xxx.xxx
use anonymised IP to enrich visits
force tracking without cookies
pseudonomise userID
not record the referer url – only detect the type of referrer
